OUR MISSION
St. Nick Delivers! provides a year-round informational online platform for connecting donors with local non-profit organizations fighting poverty and homelessness in Frederick County, Maryland.
WHO WE ARE
St. Nick Delivers! may be our new name, but the heart of our Giving Project began more than 35 years ago as a way for the members of Holy Family Catholic Community Church in Middletown, Maryland to sponsor families in need at Christmastime. Originally named Helping Hands, our Giving Project has grown from exclusively sponsoring those in need through the Seton Outreach Center’s Christmas program to now sponsoring individuals and families through multiple local charitable organizations across Frederick County, Maryland with our list of partners growing every day.
Facing the challenges of in-person Giving Tree ornament selections during the COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteer team made the important decision to grow once more into an online platform. With this growth, our doors are now open to all donors seeking ways to support local charitable organizations serving Frederick County, Maryland communities. This online platform will allow us to readily update and promote our charitable partner’s greatest needs not just at Christmastime but throughout the year!
WHAT WE DO
WE DELIVER HOPE.
While most charitable websites offer monetary giving links as their primary option for support. Our site also includes ways for anyone to donate items locally through mailed or in-person delivery options or from afar through direct shipment wish lists such as Amazon. Recipient ages and needs can vary greatly within each partnering organization; the most common donations requested are food and personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, clothing, toys, and gift card donations. We work in conjunction with our charitable partners to ensure the ages and items being requested through our site are of the highest need.

Not only do we include direct delivery options, St. Nick Delivers! also offers a 1-day outdoor drive-up collection event for accepting community-wide donations during the winter season when needs are the greatest. This is a fantastic option for those who wish to donate to multiple organizations at once.
Our St. Nick Delivers! Guarantee: We are completely volunteer run and no one associated with our project is paid for their assistance. All items listed via our donation request links are the requests of our partnering organizations and 100% of all donations received through a St. Nick Delivers’ collection day are distributed directly to the donation’s intended charitable organization on their respective designated receiving date.
